SCREEN-FREE · FOR KIDS 6–8 · PRETEND MONEY, REAL MONEY SKILLS
Practice makes money sense.
Money went invisible. Munli lets your child hold it.

Design render. Real photos coming soon.
Munli launches on Kickstarter in early November 2026. Join the early list and you'll hear first — 48 hours before we tell anyone else.
The lowest price is for the first 100 families only.
Today's problem.

Three things they almost never see or feel:
The price, the balance, the wait.
Research by Whitebread & Bingham (University of Cambridge, 2013) found that by age seven, several basic concepts related to later financial behaviour have typically developed. Children also learn about money through what they observe and experience at home.Munli brings back the experience, with pretend money and nothing to lose.
They hold the wallet. You run the bank.
No screen for them. No lesson plan from you.
A week with Munli.
Meet Munli. Your kid's first practice money lives here.
About 5 to 10 minutes of your week. Tasks are just how Muns arrive — what your child does next is the lesson.
Ten firsts.
Most of us met interest, borrowing costs and rising prices on a bill. Your child meets them now with pretend money and nothing to lose.
These are two of the ten.
The others: earning, goals, hearing "not yet", three jars, choosing, giving, planning ahead and rising prices.
About 18 weeks, at your child's pace.
After Stage 10, nothing switches off — Munli becomes how money works at home.
Built in the open.

From the Founder:
Why I built Munli: I built Munli because my child never sees money change hands. It's a tap, then it's gone. Most of us learned money as adults, often the hard way. I wanted my child to start early, with something they can hold. If you want that for your child too, I'd love you to be one of our first families. — Flora

Frequently Asked Questions
📈 What age is Munli for? Designed for 6–8.
🪙 Does Munli use real money? No. Kids use Muns, Munli's pretend currency, while parents stay in control.
👥 I have two children. Do I need two devices? Yes. Each device holds one child’s balance, goals and progress, and belongs to that child. One parent app can manage up to three children.
🛡️ Do you collect data on my child? No. This site is for parents. The device has no microphone, no camera and no internet connection.
♾️ What happens after the ten stages? Nothing switches off. Tasks, allowance, the three jars, goals and giving keep running. Most families use it as their ongoing allowance and tasks system.

Munli Privacy PolicyEffective date: 9 September 2026 · Last updated: 27 September 2026Who we areMunli ("Munli", "we", "us") is a parenting app that helps you teach your child money skills. Munli is operated by Kache, LLC. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].Munli is a parent-facing app. Accounts are created and used by a parent or guardian (18+). Children do not create accounts, log in, or use this app directly. What we collectWe collect only what's needed to run your family account. Specifically:From you, the parent/guardian:
• Email address — to create your account and sign you in.
• Your name — to set up your family profile.
• Push notification token — so we can send you reminders and alerts (for example, a spending request from your child). You can turn notifications off at any time.About your child, entered by you:
• First name (or a nickname you choose)
• Age
• An avatar you pick from a set we provideWe use your child's age only to guide which stage of the learning journey is appropriate. You choose what to enter — you can use a nickname instead of a real name. What we do NOT collect:
• ❌ No real payment or financial information. "Muns" are a virtual, in-app currency with no cash value; Munli never processes real money, and does not connect to any bank, card, or payment account.
• ❌ No location data.
• ❌ No photos, contacts, files, or microphone access.
• ❌ No advertising identifiers.
• ❌ No third-party analytics or tracking in the app.How we use your informationWe use the information above only to:
• Create and secure your account
• Provide the app's features (tasks, goals, jars, approvals, curriculum)
• Sync your family's data across both parents' devices
• Send you the notifications you've enabledWe do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it. Ever.Children's privacy (COPPA and similar laws)Munli is designed for parents, not children. A child does not have their own account and cannot sign in. Any information about a child in the app is entered by you, the parent or guardian, and is kept private to your family account.• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
• The limited child information you enter (first name/nickname, age, avatar) is used solely to run the app for your family and is never shared or sold.
• As the parent, you can view and edit your child's information at any time in the app (Settings → Child Profile). Settings → Account → Delete My Account permanently deletes your entire family account and every child's data. To delete just one child's information while keeping your account, email [email protected] and we will delete it.If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.Bluetooth and the Munli deviceThe app connects to your child's Munli device over Bluetooth, on your device, to sync progress (balances, goals, tasks). This connection is local between the app and the device. We use Bluetooth permission only for this purpose — not to track location or scan for other devices around you. What the device itself stores. The Munli device is not a recorder — it holds only enough information to work right now:• If your phone is out of range, the device temporarily holds onto button presses (up to 50; once full, the oldest is dropped first) so nothing your child does is lost. The moment the app reconnects, those presses are sent to the app and immediately cleared from the device. This is a short-term delivery buffer, not a log — the device does not keep a running history of button presses.
• The device does not store any history over time. It only knows its current state: each goal's progress percentage, pace, week count, your child's current learning stage, badges earned, and outstanding tasks. Nothing accumulates on the device — your family account (in the app) is the permanent record.
• The device has no clock of its own, so it cannot timestamp anything itself. Any time-based information (like when an event happened) is recorded by the app, on your phone, when the device's data reaches it.Our website and mailing listThis section covers our website, mymunli.com, which is for parents and guardians.• Mailing list. If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address to send you news about Munli's launch and founding-family offers. We use Klaviyo to store the list and send these emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
• Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to our website (for example, how many people visited and which page or link they came from). It does not use cookies, does not collect your name or email, and does not track you across other websites.
• We do not knowingly collect any information from children through our website.Who we share data withWe don't sell or share your personal data for marketing. We use a small number of service providers strictly to operate the app:• Supabase — securely stores your family account data and handles sign-in. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and isolated per family account.
• Klaviyo — stores our mailing list and sends our emails (website only; never child data).
• Cloudflare — hosts and protects our website and provides the cookie-free visitor statistics described above.
• Push notification services (Apple Push Notification service and/or Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, via Expo) — to deliver the notifications you enable. These providers process data only to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law.How we protect your data• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
• Family data is isolated so one family cannot access another's (row-level security).
• Access to stored data is limited to what's needed to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.Keeping and deleting your dataWe do not retain personal information longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. There is no separate expiry timer for any category of data.Your child's information (first name/nickname, age, avatar, and the progress data in your family account) is kept only for as long as it is needed to run Munli for your family — that is, while your account is active. Its only purpose is to operate the learning journey for your child. As soon as it is no longer needed for that purpose — for example, when you delete your account, or when you ask us to delete a child's information — we securely delete it. We never keep a child's information longer than is reasonably necessary, and we do not keep it for any fixed period (for example, we do not retain progress history for "12 months").Your parent/guardian account information (email, name, push notification token) is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete the personal information that is no longer reasonably necessary. We may retain only limited records where we are required to for legitimate legal, security, accounting, or compliance reasons, and only for as long as those obligations require — after which those records are deleted too.How to delete your data yourself, in the app:
• Permanently delete your entire account and all associated data: Settings → Account → Delete My Account — this removes your family account, every child's data, and your login, immediately, and cannot be undone. To delete just one child's information while keeping your account, email [email protected] and we will delete it.You can also ask us to delete your account by contacting [email protected]. When you delete your account, or ask us to delete it, we delete the associated account and family data from our active systems. We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, accounting, or compliance purposes, as described above.Your rightsDepending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected].Changes to this policyIf we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Munli after a change means you accept the updated policy.Contact usKache, LLC
